The Forge Wood House System

Let us introduce our four Forge Wood houses: Birch, Oak, Willow and Chestnut.

Every child is part of one of the four houses. They will be given the opportunity to earn tokens throughout the year and have the chance of becoming house champions! Tokens are awarded to children when they show excellent demonstration of one of our school values. The house champions are announced at the end of each academic year. For updates on the amount of tokens houses are earning throughout the year, keep an eye on this page!

Children partake in multiple house events throughout the year. This includes Sports Day, which happens annually towards the end of the academic year, and house afternoons, which happen each half term. Participating in these activities allows children to develop their sense of belonging and strengthen the community bond across the school. They also give children the opportunity to develop their personal skills, and apply our school vales to a range of tasks and activities.
